Personal Trainer Toronto and Bamboo Kung Fu School are committed to giving back to the community. For that reason, founder Kin Sze has decided to participate in Oxfam Trailwalker, a charitable event that is deemed as “the world’s greatest and toughest team challenge” (yikes!) Kin has created a team consisting of himself and 3 of his clients.
So what will they be doing? Well, to support the cause and as a tribute to their fitness levels, the team will be hiking 100km on a portion of the Ganaraska Trail System, located between Port Hope and the Collingwood region. Every member of the 4 member-team must start, stick, and finish together, completing the 100km within 48 hours – which means that it really is a group effort. The fundraising challenge takes place from July 23rd to July 25th, 2010, and Kin’s team must raise a minimum of $2500 by August 31, 2010.
If you don’t already know what Oxfam is, they help improve the living conditions of areas stricken by poverty and injustice.
Interested? Want to make a pledge? You can view more information about the fundraising challenge or call Kin at 416-412-3930. We’re still way off target because we’ve just joined, but we’re sure we’ll make it with your help!
