Kung Fu Fit isn't some wussy cardio kickboxing class - it's a program for those serious about losing weight and learning self defense with the fundamentals of authentic and traditional Kung Fu. You'll learn powerful techniques that can actually be used in combat, rather than wimpy punches and kicks that do nothing.
This program is for 24 classes, 2 times a week and features non-contact training. Each class is in a small group environment. If you prefer to train on your own or with one friend, you may want to check out our Fighting Fit program instead.
Kung Fu Fit has been specially designed to do the following:
- Teach the fundamentals of self defense and combat
- Improve overall body strength
- Accelerate weight loss and acquire more lean muscle, controlling weight gain
- Increase flexibility
Each class is comprised of two segments. The first segment involves learning traditional kung fu techniques while the second involves performing exercises to improve strength, flexibility and endurance, with a focus on weight loss.
The Kung Fu Fit instructor is a certified fitness professional with over 18 years of traditional kung fu training.
